Our Story

BLU SAKI is the name given to the blue grey tanager bird found in Guyana and other Caribbean countries. Bluebirds hold significant symbolism and meaning in many cultures, often representing happiness, hope, and joy. They are seen as a sign of good news. In many cultures the sight of these delicate beautiful creatures signals change in one’s life.

We offer upskilling programs to support individuals around the Caribbean and indigenous communities in Guyana to empower themselves. Poverty, illiteracy, dysfunctional relationships stand in their way. An example of our work: www.guyanafoundation.com

It is our hope that Blu Saki will allow us to garner funds to expand our reach to many more Caribbean territories that can benefit from our our programs and the model that has been successfully working over many years. Our team and hundreds of volunteers offer you this brand so that you too can be part of our journey to empower people.
